OPIc
The OPIc is an Internet delivered test of English oral proficiency. The computer emulates the “live” OPI, or Oral Proficiency Interview. Questions are asked via a virtual avatar. The test can be taken on demand and at a convenient time for candidate and proctor. More companies recognize the usefulness of the OPIc as a tool to assess job candidates and personnel.
The test-taker speaks the answers into a computer. The answers are taped and sent to the US for scoring. Some say it is more comprehensive than other tests. This is because grammar, vocabulary, fluency, and pronunciation are all tested.
